About Dr. Wickwire
Dr. Kim Wickwire grew up in Shady Knolls subdivision in East Peoria, IL. After graduating from East Peoria Community High School in 1971, he attended Bradley University. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in biology, graduating in 1975. Kim then started Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri, starting in August 1975, and graduating August 3, 1978.
Dr. Wickwire passed his National Boards while attending Logan College, and sat for the Illinois State Boards in December 1978. During that time, he worked in Dr. Charles Heer’s office here in Peoria, learning office procedures, advancing his knowledge in chiropractic care for his patients.
While attending Logan College, Kim met his wife, JoAnn, a St. Louis native. They have lived in the Peoria area since 1978, and have raised one son, Brandon, who also lives in the area with his wife Kristi. They continue to be active in the community.
Dr. Kim Wickwire is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and continues to educate himself in new ideas and techniques. He always exceeds the required educational hours to maintain his licenses, priding himself on staying up to the minute in Chiropractic Care for his patients.

On September 10, 1979, Dr. Kim A. Wickwire opened the Wickwire Chiropractic Clinic at his current location at 3706 N. Faber Rd., in Peoria Heights, IL.
Dr. Kim believes in a holistic approach to health care. With over 30 years experience, he listens to his patients needs, and assists through adjustments, both manual and activator, supplementation, physical therapy, and exercise. Dr. Wickwire also works closely with the medical profession, ever vigilant for needs that require additional care beyond his realm.
